Vivir sin sentir sería un sinsentido.

Vivir sin sentir sería un sinsentido.
The flower that blooms last is the most rare and beautiful of all.

µ.

I peek into the windows to his soul, and his mirthful anima exquisitely twirls and prances to the beating core our alliance bonds to. I sharply draw my breath, and his piquancy overcomes me as I crave for more. And he watches me in awe. And he rips away my gasps. And I fly away from him.
Thus escaping my own life.

Heir of the Algea.

Nacreous and almost ghoulish, it tracks my woe down the sunless drizzle I am captive in. It zealously searches for remaining crystal ounces my broken heart once smattered into, and my endeavour for freedom thrusts inside me like a raging beast. I wail, I screech, I plead. I surrender and yet brawl, savagely enduring its flair whilst drinking up my own decaying chassis. My odium bursts, and avid stains of scarlet vindictiveness plunder my soul as it feasts upon our remorseful venom, a venom so nectarous, so heavenly exquisite, my fire appeases in tranquility, sailing away on the mildest of blankets -

Serene. Breezeless. Heartless. Lifeless.

NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: Major depression comprises an extremely dangerous mental health condition which can result in overwhelming effects as far as people's lives are concerned. Once more, physician as I am, it is my commission and my moral engagement to speak up in favour of these patient's rights. Hopefully, science will keep towering over ignorance, and new treatments will be brought about. But our fight against any health issue whatsoever should not only concern scientists, but the entire population on its whole. Let us be fair. Let us be altruists. Every day, every week and every year of our lives, someone will need us. Make your existence worthwhile - help others.

Devoutly to be wish'd.

Today I feeleth at peace in midsts of war,
I don't knoweth wherefore, haply I oweth,
To heavens and the flote mine inner light,
Which shines so silent in mine owneth uproar.

Pity the dead! they said, and I believ'd,
Not anymore, I pray, they art asleep,
They seeth nay moo, for dreams art deep and blindeth,
A treasure held by he who ever liv'd.

And glee nev'r had been so sweet a fruit,
And thus I feeleth so calm and yet afraid,
So tempting and so red inside of me,
My debt to death will anon be repaid.

It takes me to the heavens, into light,
It shines so silent in mine owneth uproar,
I oweth nay more, O destiny of mine,
At peace at last in midsts of reckless war.

Pueri pueri, pueri puerilia tractant.

Here's to childhood - that ephemeral, almost holy miracle, a fated well in life's untilled wilderness. A moment so wizardly, magically burdened with infinite briefness. A genuine prodigy we often learn to love when it is far too late, and time has ruthlessly shattered the remains of our cooing field of innocence into mere regretful crumbles. And still my adult self strives to keep one single bit, minuscule as it may be. For I have always enshrined my inner child, as she profusely nurtured me with the roots I owe so much to. And life is too ravishing a wonder, and I am not leaving little Addah behind to miss out any of the beauties future beholds.

San(ct)ity.

Long ago, at a time when my senses thought themselves to be cryptic, and words comprised mere ripples on blank oceanic vastness, a lullaby concealed my soul. A lullaby so full, and yet so empty. A crooning anthem which freckled me with dauntless expectations and shielded my fluttering sinless core.

It hummed -
"Seek to be different,
Worship the strange,
Nourish foundations,
For positive change."

What it meant, I never knew for certain. But, in a sphinxlike manner, it goaded me with that one silvery raindrop of radiance I still yearn for when paths turn scabrous, when strolling becomes too arduous, and the golden halation of dreams elatedly pulls out of reach.

Fairies, they claim, are nothing but imaginary beings. Apocryphal, almost quixotic, irrelevant creatures.

Hence the reason I believe in them.

So konnte Momo zuhören!"
Michael Ende ("Momo").
